Agent Carter Star Pitches Post-Avengers: Endgame TV Revival Featuring Steve Rogers

For a multitude of reasons, The Infinity Saga is one of the most amazing accomplishments in cinema. The least of which is how successfully each character’s story was either completed or moved ahead to Phase 4. The last scene of The Infinity Saga shows Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers and Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter, two of the franchise’s most memorable characters, ultimately finding happiness.

However, many fans have questioned how the remainder of it would play out in a world of What If…? and the huge universe. Agent Carter, on the other hand, has a solution.

Peggy Carter has made a comeback in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since her first and only full-time film appearance in Captain America: The First Avenger. Since then, Atwell has appeared in many cameos across the Captain America trilogy, including a cup of coffee in Ant-Man and, of course, her tearful performance in Avengers: Endgame. This follows a One-Shot and subsequent ABC television series, Marvel’s Agent Carter, which chronicled her life after the events of 2011’s First Avenger.

Since her last appearance in Endgame, in which Steve Rogers returns to the 1940s to live out his life with Peggy, Atwell has played Multiversal variations of Agent Carter, Captain Carter. Peggy Carter material is as popular as it has ever been, first in the animated series What If…? and later in live-action with Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

So, what else can fans expect from this character? Is it more Captain Carter or Agent Carter Season 3 set in the Endgame 1940s? Haley Atwell, on the other hand, has a proposal for the latter.

Season 3 of Marvel’s Agent Carter

Peggy Carter

Hayley Atwell attended Awesome Con 2022, where she was asked on a panel what her vision for Agent Carter Season 3 will be after the events of Endgame. The film was posted by the YouTube account Fandom Spotlite, and Atwell seems to have huge plans for Cap and Peggy, “if Endgame is official.”

“Is Endgame considered canon? In my imagination, Steve is exhausted and wants to settle down, and he’s had plenty of time to compile a beautiful cookbook of dishes because he’s a terrific chef.”

Right away, Atwell seems to have her finger on the pulse of the MCU faithful. Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, the world’s finest husband and chef, in a supporting role? That is Marvel fan fiction in action. However, Atwell did not stop there.

She went on to discuss how Captain America may become even “more appealing to her.”

“Peggy is preoccupied; she hasn’t been waiting for him. She’s been busy and has a lot on her plate. And the best part is that Cap is fine with it since he’s a feminist. He’s not worried about it. He allows her live her best life and reach her full potential because he recognizes the contribution she has to offer in the world, which makes him even more appealing to her. That is my starting point “‘

Atwell devises a means to include one of, if not the, most recognizable names and faces in comic book movie history while being loyal to Peggy Carter in this series. Since her debut in 2011, Atwell has been a proud owner of the Peggy Carter fanbase. This presentation assures fans that if and when Peggy Carter returns in a more full-time position, Atwell will do all she can to keep Agent Carter’s spirit alive.

Atwell’s next anticipated MCU appearance will be in Season 2 of What If…? where she is likely to resume her role as Captain Carter, a super soldier

What about Captain America? That’s Agent Carter.

This pitch has a real “go off queen” vibe to it, and these are the sorts of interviews that get supporters behind an actor, character, or project. Haley Atwell seems to possess a trait shared by many MCU performers, one that contributes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s popularity and immersion. She understands.

A good response here would spark widespread conjecture and fan art regarding a Cap & Peggy team-up project in which Chris Evans dons the shield and accompanies Agent Carter on her missions. It would be dubbed Captain America & Agent Carter and would most likely be a huge hit.

However, that film or television program seems to be a sequel, continuation, or retelling of Steve Rogers’ narrative. It’s not Peggy Carter’s.

Atwell wants to see Steve Rogers’ feminist side and what a Captain America looks like when he puts up his cape. That proposal is not only entertaining and unique in its usage of the character, but it also enables Peggy to shine in HER program. Using the events of Endgame to not only bring Steve back into the fold, but also to offer Atwell flowers.

Peggy is one of the MCU’s most understatedly iconic characters. Peggy and Steve are often at the top of lists of the greatest couples in the world. Following programs like WandaVision on Disney+, this world is in a position to tell a home tale. With SHIELD’s action narrative and Peggy Carter’s adventures giving excitement, having Peggy explore issues of female empowerment and controlling your own story is on the table and fascinating.

Being able to demonstrate the guys in her life’s support via the vehicle of Chris Evans? That’s even better.

Peggy fans are looking forward to seeing What If…? Season 2 will introduce the character. Captain Carter’s animated Peggy has already earned a cameo in one of Phase 4’s biggest flicks. If Marvel Studios wants to maintain that look, but the Peggy hype continues, Agent Carter Season 3 is certainly a possibility.

And Hayley Atwell seems to be capable of doing so all day.

Armor Wars Movie: from Marvel Disney+ Series To A Film

Due to creative adjustments, the TV series starring Don Cheadle will now be turned into an MCU – Armor Wars movie. The most of the Disney+ series that Marvel Studios had planned have already been released, but Armor Wars has been stuck in development for a while. Even though it had been announced in 2020, James Rhodes’ spinoff show hadn’t received any updates until 2022. In 2008’s Iron Man, Terrence Howard played Rhodes; in Iron Man 2, Cheadle took over as War Machine, and he has since continued to feature in several MCU projects.

Despite being a part of Phase 5, the Armor Wars TV series on Disney+ is being redesigned as an MCU – Armor Wars movie, with Don Cheadle remaining attached to play War Machine.

War Machine is followed by Armor Wars following Phase 3, which resulted in the demise of his closest friend, Tony Stark. The Disney+ drama will, according to confirmation, follow the events of Secret Invasion, in which Cheadle will next play the Marvel character. Despite Disney’s commitment to creating the series, Armor Wars was not included in any of the Phases 5 or 6 slates that Marvel Studios presented at San Diego Comic-Con. One of the key Armor Wars stories, according to Cheadle in an interview from earlier this month, would include Tony Stark’s technology going out into the open, with Rhodey having to stop the wrong people from using it.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Armor Wars is being retooled into a feature picture, causing a significant shake-up within Marvel Studios. The company decided that a movie would be a better choice as opposed to a 6-episode series since they were dedicated to “having the tale conveyed the proper way.” The movie’s screenplay will be written by the film’s head writer, Yassir Lester, who is still employed. Production had been planned to begin in 2023, but this most recent development has forced a postponement. The Armor Wars information was released shortly after the director of the Blade reboot was fired.

How the MCU Will Be Affected by the Filming of Armor Wars Movie

Armor Wars

While Armor Wars’ continual postponement is a problem in and of itself, Cheadle’s character might gain from the film’s decision. Despite the fact that War Machine has been in a lot of MCU movies, he has never been the main character in any of the plots. Despite Rhodes having his own show at first, a feature film offers him a greater stage for obvious reasons. Additionally, this would give War Machine his own cinematic prominence after serving as Iron Man’s sidekick throughout the duration of the MCU. Marvel has adapted a product from one medium to another before, and Armor Wars is hardly the only instance of this. The Royal Family was supposed to have its own Phase 3 movie before The Inhumans became a TV show, but instead received a short series on ABC that had a poor outcome.

The length of Armor Wars’ delay as a result of the move from Disney+ to theaters is yet unknown. Armor Wars may have to wait until Phase 6 even if it takes place after Secret Invasion unless Marvel discovers a window in Phase 5 that makes sense. Due to the enormous lag between the conclusion of Secret Invasion and the release of Cheadle’s movie, it’s probable that the tie-ins from Secret Invasion will be eliminated if Armor Wars is redeveloped as a feature film. There is a likelihood that Armor Wars was always a Phase 6 project because the slate wasn’t fully revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. It is unclear how Armor Wars will fare as a movie unless Cheadle, Feige, and Marvel Studios make announcements.
