The 10 Most Likely MCU Characters To Appear In Moon Knight

Several well-known MCU characters, including Blade and Doctor Strange, might appear in Moon Knight, with some seeming more plausible than others.

Several well-known MCU characters, including Blade and Doctor Strange, might appear in Moon Knight, with some seeming more plausible than others.

Moon Knight, a new character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will offer a new depth to the series, however, like everything else Marvel, Moon Knight is intertwined with other facets of the MCU. Moon Knight has strong links to both important and small characters in the comics, and will most likely have similar relationships in the MCU. Some of those characters may make an appearance in the upcoming streaming series.

Moon Knight has been a solo hero for decades, but he has also been a member of important Marvel Comics teams such as the West Coast Avengers, the Avengers, and the Midnight Sons. That might suggest a wide range of MCU characters will feature in the series, including characters from previous Marvel film franchises that have suddenly become available due to the multiverse.

Hawkeye

Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner While Jeremy Renner’s future as Hawkeye is still unknown, the character’s next adventure, assuming he stays in the MCU, might be in Moon Knight. Clint Barton might arrive in the series to persuade Marc Spector to join a new Avengers team.

Moon Knight first appeared in the West Coast Avengers in issue #21 of the first volume of that 1980s series, and he’s easily a character who could join the MCU version of the team if it forms, which there’s reason to believe it will.

Vision in White

WandaVision has a White Vision. The White Vision initially debuted in the West Coast Avengers’ Vision Quest storyline and is now a member of the MCU. He departed Westview for unknown territory at the conclusion of WandaVision, although he might make an appearance in Moon Knight.

Depending on how the narrative progresses in the streaming series, The Vision’s desire to understand himself and his past might take him to London and perhaps a confrontation with Marc Spector, or he could be forced into crossing paths with him by other forces.

The Leaper Batroc

Episode 5 of Falcon and Winter Soldier features Batroc. Before becoming Moon Knight, Marc Spector is a mercenary. From the first teaser, the timing and history of Moon Knight are unknown, although it’s plausible that Spector met Batroc The Leaper, one of Captain America’s most fearsome adversaries.

At the conclusion of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, Batroc is dead in the MCU, a victim of the Power Broker and his own avarice. However, in Moon Knight, flashbacks or a fluid chronology – as shown in the teaser – may allow for a short return of the character.

The Handler of Power

Carter, Sharon Falcon’s Power Broker and the MCU’s Winter Soldier Batroc’s murderer have a good likelihood of appearing in the series. In the comics, Moon Knight has always dealt with international crime, and it seems probable that he will in the live-action version as well. That could lead to a confrontation with the Power Broker, one of the criminal underworld’s most powerful figures.

The MCU put a new spin on the Power Broker by transforming her into Sharon Carter, a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Carter will undoubtedly remain a part of the MCU, and she may make an appearance in Moon Knight.

The Contessa is a woman who lives in Italy.

Contessa is credited by Black Widow. Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is a character in the novel Valentina Allegra de Fontaine The Contessa is another prominent MCU character that might have a part. Valentina Allegra de Fontaine has thus far remained a mystery person, enlisting the help of John Walker and Yelena Belova for an unknown cause. Her next target may be Moon Knight.

The Contessa’s statement to John Walker that “things are about to get weird” could evidence a number of different things. One thing is for certain; she’s interested in characters on the margins, and Moon Knight is a prime example of that in the comics and now the MCU.

Doctor Strange

Stephen Strange prepares to fight in the New York Sanctum in Doctor Strange Doctor Strange and Moon Knight have a connection in Marvel Comics through the Midnight Sons, a group of superheroes dedicated to fighting supernatural threats. With Moon Knight and other characters like Blade, this team seems to be coming together in the MCU.

They have an interesting multiverse link as well. Moon Knight #42 is titled “Universe Madness,” and it involves Moon Knight encountering several versions of himself around the multiverse. The Moon Knight series will launch in May, which coincides with the release of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness.

Wong

In Shang-Chi, Benedict Wong Wong is another supernatural figure that could feature in the series. In Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings, Wong is shown enlisting Shang-Chi and Katy into the wider Avengers universe. He may also bring Moon Knight into the fold as the next Sorcerer Supreme.

The mystical aspect of Moon Knight, through his connection to the Egyptian magical deity of Khonshu, could very easily draw in other magical characters. As one of the most powerful magicians in the Marvel Universe, Wong could easily be one of them.

Whitman, Dane

Post-credits scene from Eternals Whitman, Dane Dane Whitman is a new MCU character that might feature in the forthcoming series. As established in Eternals, Dane Whitman works in a museum in London and may easily be dragged into the mystery of Khonshu and ancient Egypt in Moon Knight.

Whitman has a spiritual connection of his own. In the comics, he is the Black Knight, a superhero whose powers derive from the Ebony Blade, a mystical weapon that is so powerful it’s already drawn the attention of another major Marvel character.

Blade

Blade Marvel MCU The mid-credits scene of Eternals introduced Blade for the first time to the MCU, though only as an off-screen voice. He had a clear interest in Dane Whitman and the Ebony Blade, and is likely to have a similar interest in Moon Knight.

Blade is famous in the comics and movies as a vampire hunter, and he is connected to Moon Knight in the comics through the Midnight Sons. Blade could be forming this team in the MCU as well, including Dane, Marc Spector, and others.

Apocalypse

X-Men Apocalypse Trailer Oscar Isaac Oscar Issac has already played a Marvel character in a movie, and an outside-the-box choice to appear in the series is Apocalypse. Issac played the human version of En Sabah Nur in X-Men: Apocalypse and thanks to the multiverse, everything is on the table in the MCU.

A cameo by Apocalypse could be intriguing if the series flashes back to ancient Egypt. Issac is unlikely to play Apocalypse again in the MCU, but a brief cameo of his human form would be a fun Easter egg for fans, especially if it gets involved in the multiverse thanks to a possible connection to Doctor Strange.

Armor Wars Movie: from Marvel Disney+ Series To A Film

Due to creative adjustments, the TV series starring Don Cheadle will now be turned into an MCU – Armor Wars movie. The most of the Disney+ series that Marvel Studios had planned have already been released, but Armor Wars has been stuck in development for a while. Even though it had been announced in 2020, James Rhodes’ spinoff show hadn’t received any updates until 2022. In 2008’s Iron Man, Terrence Howard played Rhodes; in Iron Man 2, Cheadle took over as War Machine, and he has since continued to feature in several MCU projects.

Despite being a part of Phase 5, the Armor Wars TV series on Disney+ is being redesigned as an MCU – Armor Wars movie, with Don Cheadle remaining attached to play War Machine.

War Machine is followed by Armor Wars following Phase 3, which resulted in the demise of his closest friend, Tony Stark. The Disney+ drama will, according to confirmation, follow the events of Secret Invasion, in which Cheadle will next play the Marvel character. Despite Disney’s commitment to creating the series, Armor Wars was not included in any of the Phases 5 or 6 slates that Marvel Studios presented at San Diego Comic-Con. One of the key Armor Wars stories, according to Cheadle in an interview from earlier this month, would include Tony Stark’s technology going out into the open, with Rhodey having to stop the wrong people from using it.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Armor Wars is being retooled into a feature picture, causing a significant shake-up within Marvel Studios. The company decided that a movie would be a better choice as opposed to a 6-episode series since they were dedicated to “having the tale conveyed the proper way.” The movie’s screenplay will be written by the film’s head writer, Yassir Lester, who is still employed. Production had been planned to begin in 2023, but this most recent development has forced a postponement. The Armor Wars information was released shortly after the director of the Blade reboot was fired.

How the MCU Will Be Affected by the Filming of Armor Wars Movie

Armor Wars

While Armor Wars’ continual postponement is a problem in and of itself, Cheadle’s character might gain from the film’s decision. Despite the fact that War Machine has been in a lot of MCU movies, he has never been the main character in any of the plots. Despite Rhodes having his own show at first, a feature film offers him a greater stage for obvious reasons. Additionally, this would give War Machine his own cinematic prominence after serving as Iron Man’s sidekick throughout the duration of the MCU. Marvel has adapted a product from one medium to another before, and Armor Wars is hardly the only instance of this. The Royal Family was supposed to have its own Phase 3 movie before The Inhumans became a TV show, but instead received a short series on ABC that had a poor outcome.

The length of Armor Wars’ delay as a result of the move from Disney+ to theaters is yet unknown. Armor Wars may have to wait until Phase 6 even if it takes place after Secret Invasion unless Marvel discovers a window in Phase 5 that makes sense. Due to the enormous lag between the conclusion of Secret Invasion and the release of Cheadle’s movie, it’s probable that the tie-ins from Secret Invasion will be eliminated if Armor Wars is redeveloped as a feature film. There is a likelihood that Armor Wars was always a Phase 6 project because the slate wasn’t fully revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. It is unclear how Armor Wars will fare as a movie unless Cheadle, Feige, and Marvel Studios make announcements.
