Wanda should appear in the following MCU films and Disney+ shows

Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, has been the unexpected highlight of the MCU’s post-Endgame Phase 4. The formidable hero has developed into one of the most famous out there in recent years, as she changes into the Scarlet Witch, from starring in the reality-bending comedy WandaVision to co-leading Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision saw the magic-using Avenger brainwash the town of Westview to build her fantasy suburban family living with a husband and two children after the loss of her synthezoid lover Vision in Avengers: Infinity War. Unfortunately, Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, ruined her enjoyment by trying to take her magical skill using the Darkhold, an ancient book of terrible magic.

The remainder of this article includes Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness spoilers.

Marvel

Fortunately, Wanda was able to beat Agatha, take her mythological identity as the Scarlet Witch, and withdraw from society in order to investigate the Darkhold. After years of studying the book, Multiverse of Madness showed an even more powerful Wanda – now corrupted by the Darkhold – trying to track down America Chavez in order to take her Multiverse travel skills in order to go to a world where she has children.

Wanda was determined to go to any length to achieve her objective, amassing a shocking killing weapon along the road and completing her transition into a Marvel villain. Scarlet Witch had learned the error of her ways at the conclusion of the film and seemed to sacrifice herself atop Mount Wundagore to destroy the Darkhold. But with a famous figure like Wanda, odds are she won’t be dead for long, so when will she return?

Where Will Scarlet Witch Next Appear?

Despite Scarlet Witch’s sacrifice to destroy the Darkhold at the conclusion of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it’s difficult to envision Wanda being dead for long. Elizabeth Olsen will likely return to the MCU, whether via resurrection, a Multiverse Variant, or the unexpected announcement of her survival. But when and where exactly? That is a far more difficult issue.

Agatha: Harkness House

Marvel

Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, will soon star in her own Disney+ series, Agatha: House of Harkness, based on her wicked role in WandaVision. Wanda transformed Harkness into the nosy neighbor Agnes in the last moments of the MCU comedy, leaving her in Westview with no knowledge of her magical personality.

Unless House of Harkness acts as a prelude to WandaVision, following Agatha’s magical travels across history, the black magic witch will need the assistance of someone to break the curse. With Wanda being the one who took away Agatha’s magical memories, it would make sense for her to appear in at least one episode.

Agatha Harkness, who introduced Wanda to the Darkhold during WandaVision, has been corrupted by the book, much as the former Avenger was in Multiverse of Madness. Perhaps Agatha will educate Wanda how to live with corruption, or perhaps help her escape it, in the Disney+ spin-off, which is said to be a dark comedy.

The two witches’ reunion was even hinted at in their previous meeting, when Agatha informed Wanda she is “going to need [her],” to which she replied that she “[knows] where to find [her].”

Wanda sacrificed herself to destroy Wundagore at the conclusion of Multiverse of Madness, but her corpse has yet to be located, therefore it’s reasonable to presume the Scarlet Witch is still alive. Agatha: House of Harkness may focus on the eponymous villain’s search for the missing Wanda Maximoff, leading to an exciting reunion.

WandaVision Season 2: Follow-up

Marvel

Given Scarlet Witch’s rising popularity, bringing her to the big screen may be the next obvious step after WandaVision. However, the reality-bending comedy was crucial in establishing the MCU on the streaming service, and as such, Marvel and Disney may desire to maintain Wanda on Disney+ in the form of a second season or a follow-up project.

WandaVision’s creative team has previously defined it as a limited series. This might be because the notion of WandaVision and its sitcom realism only function within the setting of the first season’s tale. That doesn’t mean Scarlet Witch can’t headline a different Disney+ series from her first, presumably sans Vision this time.

After all, Wanda has yet to contact with the new White Vision, so his MCU future may be distinct from that of his magical wife. Although SWORD’s repaired synthezoid has the memories of the original, continuing their relationship would somewhat cheapen the beautiful finish it came to, implying that the Scarlet Witch may need to fly alone for the first time.

Given that Wanda’s fate was unclear in the Doctor Strange sequel, a hypothetical second season might investigate the consequences of her sacrifice, leading to additional tales about the Scarlet Witch’s return as a hero after her Darkhold degradation.

Scarlet Witch Solo Film

Marvel

MyTimeToShineHello, a popular insider, was recently asked whether she could confirm speculations that Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch would star in her own solo film, and she simply replied “sure.” Assuming this is correct, Wanda’s first theatrical solo excursion might be revealed as early as this year, at either the July San Diego Comic-Con or the September D23.

As Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow demonstrated last year, Marvel heroes don’t have to be alive in the MCU to have their own film. Scarlet Witch might be a prequel to fill in the spaces between projects, potentially even focusing on the two years between WandaVision and Multiverse of Madness and focusing on Wanda’s rising Darkhold depravity.

Scarlet Witch’s solo debut might, instead, take place after Multiverse of Madness, with her being revived or shown to have survived. The demon Chthon might be an appropriate pick for the primary adversary. After all, as the creator of the now-destroyed Darkhold, killing the Elder God of Chaos may set Wanda free from her depravity and put her back on the road to redemption.

Avengers of the West Coast/Young Avengers

Marvel

A Young Avengers project has long been rumored in the MCU. Given the introductions of America Chavez, Kate Bishop, Kid Loki, Ms. Marvel, and Wanda’s twins (Speed and Wiccan), the series seems primed to unite the youthful heroes for an impending adventure. On Earth-616, however, Tommy and Billy Maximoff do not exist because Wanda created them using the Hex.

An alternative version of Tommy and Billy Maximoff from another Earth may launch the Young Avengers by traveling to Earth-616 to enlist its young heroes against an unknown menace. The reappearance of the Maximoff twins might pave the way for the Scarlet Witch’s triumphant return, not as a villain, but as a hero.

Meanwhile, a West Coast Avengers spin-off starring White Vision may be in the works. The West Coast Avengers were founded in Marvel Comics at the idea of Vision, and the same might happen in the MCU at some time. Because of White Vision’s popularity as a member of this new incarnation of the Avengers, Wanda may seek out her previous love and be reconciled once and for all.

Avengers 5

Marvel

On the opposite end of the scale, Elizabeth Olsen’s Maximoff may take a break for a few years before returning for the fifth Avengers film. For the time being, the Avengers’ next major challenge is unknown, although Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathon Majors, is the leading candidate.

Scarlet Witch would be a formidable opponent for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to confront next. But, after WandaVision’s Westview debacle and Multiverse of Madness’ deadly spree, the Avengers will be loath to call on Wanda for assistance, much alone put her back on the team.

If Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch ever reunites with her old allies, regaining their confidence would definitely be difficult. Perhaps her sacrifice to destroy the Darkhold will be the first step on that path, provided she survives or returns at all, but Wanda’s road to become an Avenger again is lengthy.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is presently showing in cinemas throughout the globe.

Armor Wars Movie: from Marvel Disney+ Series To A Film

Due to creative adjustments, the TV series starring Don Cheadle will now be turned into an MCU – Armor Wars movie. The most of the Disney+ series that Marvel Studios had planned have already been released, but Armor Wars has been stuck in development for a while. Even though it had been announced in 2020, James Rhodes’ spinoff show hadn’t received any updates until 2022. In 2008’s Iron Man, Terrence Howard played Rhodes; in Iron Man 2, Cheadle took over as War Machine, and he has since continued to feature in several MCU projects.

Despite being a part of Phase 5, the Armor Wars TV series on Disney+ is being redesigned as an MCU – Armor Wars movie, with Don Cheadle remaining attached to play War Machine.

War Machine is followed by Armor Wars following Phase 3, which resulted in the demise of his closest friend, Tony Stark. The Disney+ drama will, according to confirmation, follow the events of Secret Invasion, in which Cheadle will next play the Marvel character. Despite Disney’s commitment to creating the series, Armor Wars was not included in any of the Phases 5 or 6 slates that Marvel Studios presented at San Diego Comic-Con. One of the key Armor Wars stories, according to Cheadle in an interview from earlier this month, would include Tony Stark’s technology going out into the open, with Rhodey having to stop the wrong people from using it.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Armor Wars is being retooled into a feature picture, causing a significant shake-up within Marvel Studios. The company decided that a movie would be a better choice as opposed to a 6-episode series since they were dedicated to “having the tale conveyed the proper way.” The movie’s screenplay will be written by the film’s head writer, Yassir Lester, who is still employed. Production had been planned to begin in 2023, but this most recent development has forced a postponement. The Armor Wars information was released shortly after the director of the Blade reboot was fired.

How the MCU Will Be Affected by the Filming of Armor Wars Movie

Armor Wars

While Armor Wars’ continual postponement is a problem in and of itself, Cheadle’s character might gain from the film’s decision. Despite the fact that War Machine has been in a lot of MCU movies, he has never been the main character in any of the plots. Despite Rhodes having his own show at first, a feature film offers him a greater stage for obvious reasons. Additionally, this would give War Machine his own cinematic prominence after serving as Iron Man’s sidekick throughout the duration of the MCU. Marvel has adapted a product from one medium to another before, and Armor Wars is hardly the only instance of this. The Royal Family was supposed to have its own Phase 3 movie before The Inhumans became a TV show, but instead received a short series on ABC that had a poor outcome.

The length of Armor Wars’ delay as a result of the move from Disney+ to theaters is yet unknown. Armor Wars may have to wait until Phase 6 even if it takes place after Secret Invasion unless Marvel discovers a window in Phase 5 that makes sense. Due to the enormous lag between the conclusion of Secret Invasion and the release of Cheadle’s movie, it’s probable that the tie-ins from Secret Invasion will be eliminated if Armor Wars is redeveloped as a feature film. There is a likelihood that Armor Wars was always a Phase 6 project because the slate wasn’t fully revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. It is unclear how Armor Wars will fare as a movie unless Cheadle, Feige, and Marvel Studios make announcements.
