Celebrities With Coronavirus: See Who Has Had COVID-19
John Mayer and Amanda Kloots are the latest celebrities to test positive for COVID.
Even celebrities aren’t immune from the coronavirus. Even a year after the pandemic hit the United States, celebrities are still being hit with symptoms and positive tests. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were the first celebs to confirm they had contracted the disease in March 2020, and many other stars have also come forward to share their stories about testing positive. Here’s a list of the most recent stars that have COVID-19:
John Mayer took to Instagram on Feb. 24, 2022 to reveal that he tested positive for COVID-19. In a lengthy message, he wrote, “Whelp. More members of the band tested positive for Covid today, and I was one of them. This means we have to reschedule the next four shows, which we’ve already rescheduled and posted above. I’m so sorry to make you change your plans. This is a bummer for everyone in the band and crew, to say nothing of the question hanging over everyone’s head – mine included – as to how I tested positive on PCR twice in two months. (The first was extremely mild, but this one’s got the better of me.) We’ll give you everything we’ve got at these upcoming shows, just as soon as we rest up and regroup. With love and appreciation… me”.
On Feb. 24, 2022, Amanda Kloots revealed she tested positive for COVID-19, the virus that lead to the death of her late husband Nick Cordero during the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic. She broke the unfortunate news on Instagram, directing the message to viewers of her daytime talk show The Talk. “My @thetalkcbs family! Unfortunately I tested positive for COVID and will be missing some days at work until my quarantine is over,” she wrote with a pic of her and her The Talk co-hosts Sheryl Underwood, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbajabiamila and Natalie Morales.
Justin Bieber reportedly tested positive for COVID on Saturday, Feb. 19. The “Baby” singer is, fortunately, feeling fine but has decided to postpone his Sunday performance at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He will instead perform at the venue at a later date in Summer 2022. He’s set to perform in Glendale, Arizona and Los Angeles later in the week but those dates may be postponed as well. HollywoodLife has reached out to Justin’s reps for comment.

— Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@RepAOC) January 9, 2022

The Congresswoman received her [COVID-19 vaccine] booster shot this Fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.”
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez recently came under fire for vacationing in Florida. She and her boyfriend, Riley Roberts, were photographed hanging together outside while not wearing masks – which abides by the CDC’s safety regulations. Her right-wing, Republican critics called her out for vacationing in Florida while her home state of New York has implemented restrictions due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. They also remarked about her boyfriends’ footwear.
“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” she tweeted. “Ya creepy weirdos. It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women, & LGBT+ people in general. These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird.”

Tori Spelling took to Instagram on Jan. 7 to reveal that her entire family — including her five children — tested positive for COVID-19. “I share a lot on social media but this is one thing I didn’t want to share… But, at this point people are getting frustrated not getting responses personally and business wise from me and wondering why I’m MIA so I finally decided to share. Our entire family has COVID. Yes, every single member got it. We all have varying degrees of symptoms. I was last to be symptomatic. We all were praying it was just a bad winter cold. But it wasn’t. Nothing is worse than wanting to care for your little ones but feeling so sick you can barely function yourself. I feel useless as a parent. Devastated,” she began in a lengthy statement.
“A mom is supposed to take care of their kiddos when sick. That’s how it works. But, we are all getting thru this together. I know we aren’t alone. So many are going thru this as well. Have gone they thru this. And, will go thru this. Thank you to my friend Chrissy @goodcarmacree who immediately dropped a care package of vitamins at our front door when she heard. So grateful to you! And, if I’m not responding please understand. Give me some time. We are right in the thick of it. For reference : This post took 45 min of starting and stopping to write. #covidsucks,” she concluded.

We have a doctor coming to the house caring for her.”
Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam has revealed he had the coronavirus. The 40-year-old actor made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on November 6, during which he explained that he was feeling sick. “I’m not sure what I have. Even before receiving the positive test results, Donald and Melania planned to go into quarantine. This is because Trump’s top aide Hope Hicks was the first to test positive for the coronavirus after she and the president traveled to and from the first 2020 presidential debate together (which took place on Sept. 29). Donald and Melania’s positive COVID-19 tests happened less than five weeks before the Nov. 3 presidential election.
Hope Hicks — who is a very close senior adviser to Donald Trump — tested positive for COVID-19, which Bloomberg News was the first to report “according to people familiar with the matter.” The senior adviser just traveled with Trump to and from his first presidential debate with Joe Biden, which took place on Sept. 29, via the Air Force One.
Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 2, 2020
Hope reportedly “felt poorly” in Minnesota the day afterwards, where Trump was holding a rally, according to the report. On that day, she was seen walking to Trump’s Marine One helicopter with the president’s other advisers Jared Kushner, Stephen Miller, and Dan Scavino, according to ABC News. She was then “quarantined” on her “return flight” and received her positive test results for COVID-19 on Oct. 1, just two days after the presidential debate, Bloomberg News also reported.
Shortly after the report broke, Trump confirmed Hope’s diagnosis and revealed that both he and Melania Trump will be quarantining. “Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!,” Trump tweeted on Oct. 1.

As I go into my 20th year on the E! red carpet I have to say I do not take missing an award show lightly, but unfortunately, this year is just so different,” Giuliana said in the video. “As part of E! and NBCUniversal’s very strict testing guidelines, especially before an event like this, I did find out that I tested positive for COVID-19. Now as much as I didn’t want to hear that, I’m very thankful I heard it before I traveled and possibly could have exposed other people. So for that, I’m thankful.”
She continued: “As far as my health, I’m doing well. My husband Bill and our son [Duke] also did test positive, but we’re all doing well and taking care of each other so I’m going to get back to doing that. But I just want to say I’m wishing you all the best and please protect yourselves and protect those around you. Take good care and I’ll see you on the next red carpet.”

I’m not feeling any symptoms or anything, and it comes back like two days later, and they said I did have the coronavirus,” Tiffany revealed.
