The M760e was one of the more intriguing variants of the BMW 7 Series G70 when it was launched last month. The first plug-in hybrid M Performance model has a combined output of 571 horsepower (420 kilowatts) and 800 Newton-meters (590 pound-feet) of torque. It will be on sale next spring and will be powered by an electric motor with a temporary output of 40 horsepower (30 kW).
BMW has also produced a less electrified M Performance model, which was not included in the initial 7 Series G70 announcement. While it seems to be similar to the M760e, its PHEV arrangement produces 490 horsepower (360 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds, while the beefier M760e does it in 0.6 seconds less.
The automobile in this video was shot at Bavaria Motors Katowice, a BMW dealer in Poland. Having said that, our investigation indicates that the M750e will be offered in other areas as well. The basic M Performance hybrid can go up to 55 miles (89 kilometers) in the WLTP cycle, which is the same as the M760e.
Because it is a M Performance model, it has the same quad exhaust system as the M760e. As you may have heard, BMW will progressively transition to four tips for all M Performance vehicles, beginning with the next-generation X1 in M35i specification, which will be available soon. The M750e sports the same two-tone finish for the body and wheels as the more powerful PHEV model featured in official photographs in April, but for the distinctive insignia.
The 7 Series / i7 boasts a distinctive outward design and an interior that seems like it belongs in a concept vehicle. The G70 has a more commanding presence than the previous-generation, long-wheelbase vehicle because it has been stretched even farther. The mostly black appearance of this automobile makes the large grille less noticeable, which many will say is a good thing.
BMW’s new flagship will be on sale in November, although certain models will arrive in 2023. The i7 M70 with 660 horsepower will be the ultimate top of the line.
