Is Bardock’s Latest Fight a Big Mistake for Dragon Ball Super?

Fans of Dragon Ball Super just got their hands on the next chapter, and you’d think they’d already read it.  However, it seems that there is one issue affecting fans about the update, and it has to do with a Bardock problem.

After all, you may believe you know a person, but when dealing with a Saiyan, things may change rapidly. Fans are attempting to figure out if anything essential about Bardock was left out of the most recent chapter of Dragon Ball Super by accident… or on design.

As the latest chapter includes a flashback to Bardock, the whole scenario may be found above. Fans watched the Saiyan combat Gas in his awoken condition there, and our heroes are now on the ropes due to this wicked form. Vegeta and Goku have no idea how the elderly guy fought Gas, and when the villain sees Goku, he flashes back to Bardock.

As you can see in the image above, Bardock is beaten and battered, but we know he beats Gas. Goku’s father has a new light aura around him, but his tail is the wild card. The fighter’s Saiyan tail is gone, which contradicts all we know about him.

Bardock was said to have kept his Saiyan Tail until his death, and this was shown when Goku’s father made a last effort against Frieza. Dragon Ball Super, on the other hand, repeatedly paints the fighter sans his tail. Fans aren’t persuaded it was a mistake that Bardock’s tail was severed in five panels in a row. It’s one thing to forget about the tail once or twice, but five times is pushing it. Furthermore, it has been about two weeks since these panels were online, and no modifications have been made.

Shueisha would very certainly have noticed if there was anything amiss with these images by now. After all, the whole fanbase is abuzz about the exclusion, but we haven’t heard anything. The fandom now believes that while Bardock was battling Gas, he unlocked an ability that allowed him to lose his tail for a short time. So, if that’s the case, Goku will need to activate the power as soon as possible.
