BMW India released the X4 Black Shadow Edition last month, and now it’s back with another special edition. The Silver Shadow Edition is based on the coupe-SUV but foregoes the stealthy aspect in favor of a more attractive appeal. The chrome accents on the flashy kidneys are reminiscent of various M40i-badged vehicles, like as the M340i and Z4 M40i.
The X4 Silver Shadow Edition, on the other hand, is not based on a M Performance model. It is instead available as an xDrive30i or xDrive30d variant. This unique edition, named after the first unibody Rolls-Royce, comes included with the M Sport Package. The adaptive suspension, 20-inch M wheels with M Sport brakes, and a more aggressive aerodynamic package are among the highlights.
BMW adds adaptable LED headlights and three paint colors: Carbon Black, Phytonic Blue, and Alpine White to sweeten the deal. Vernasca Mocha leather décor stitching and beautiful pearl chrome trim can be seen on the inside. The Silver Shadow Edition adds a panoramic glass roof, head-up display, and twin 12.3-inch displays to make it more attractive than the original X4.
The M Sport Package includes interior upgrades like as sport seats, a M steering wheel, and an anthracite headliner for the Silver Shadow Edition. The same branding has been employed to adorn the door sills, pedals, and even the key’s M identification.
The Silver Shadow Edition Is Expensive
BMW has not said how many would be made, but we do know that the assembly will take place locally at the Chennai factory. The X4 xDrive30i may currently be bought online at shop.bmw.in for INR 7,190,000 ($94,300). If you choose the xDrive30d, the price rises slightly to INR 7,390,000 ($97,000). Regardless of engine, the Silver Shadow Edition is equipped with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission that sends power to both axles.
As you may know, BMW India recently celebrated an important milestone by producing its 100,000th vehicle, a 740Li M Sport Edition with Individual modifications. The plant in Chennai also produces the 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series, 5 Series, and 6 Series GT. The X1, X3, X5, and X7 SUVs, as well as the MINI Countryman, are also manufactured there.
