Why Does ‘The Boys’ Series Favor DC Superheroes Over Marvel Superheroes? So, Here’s a Thought!

Eric Kripke’s superhero television series ‘The Boys,’ which is now accessible on Amazon Prime Video, has finally found an audience. And, despite the release of the third season last month (June), the superhero program continues to trend on social media for a variety of reasons. One of them is the hilarious parodies based on DC and Marvel superheroes, which has the crowd in stitches.

Many people feel that the superhero show pokes fun at Justice League characters more than MCU characters. And, according to an intriguing notion, the weaknesses in these DC superheroes may make their characters even more susceptible than the Marvel ones. The Golden Age of the Justice League superheroes, on the other hand, manages to overcome their weaknesses, and ‘The Boys’ manages to employ their interpretations, along with a series of humorous parodies.

‘The Boys’ follows Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie (Jack Quaid), and other members of their group as they attempt to take down the Supes, a group of evil superheroes comprised of Starlight (Eriarty), Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), The Deep (Chace Crawford), and other members, including their leader Homelander (Antony Starr).

While previous DC films have struggled at the box office (with the exception of The Batman), Marvel’s Phase 4 has gotten mixed reviews. Despite this, ‘The Boys’ have managed to amuse the audience with their out-of-the-box wonderful stuff.
