A new poster teases Marvel Studios’ announcements at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con.

Prior to the pandemic, it was customary for Marvel Studios to make important announcements during the San Diego Comic-Con. The pop culture event prepared the stage for famous Marvel moments like Tom Hiddleston’s Loki interrupting the party, the Avengers: Age of Ultron ensemble making a stunning entrance, and the debut of Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man.

The last time Marvel Studios had a crowd go wild was at SDCC 2019, when they announced Phase 4 projects including WandaVision, Eternals, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Thor: Love and Thunder.

As things begin to return to normal, it seems like Marvel will make a triumphant comeback to the popular event.

Marvel Studios at San Diego Comic-Con 2022

SDCC Blog has evidence suggesting Marvel Studios may make an announcement during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

An official banner displaying She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was seen across the Gaslamp and San Diego, according to the publication.

The banner has the official She-Hulk poster, with the SDCC logo at the bottom.

Previously, Marvel Studios was the one that sponsored similar banners, promoting films like Thor: The Dark World, Ant-Man, and Avengers: Endgame.

One Take News previously reported that Marvel will not have a real panel at the event, implying that the studio would not make any major announcements at Comic-Con in order to concentrate on the D23 Expo event on September 10.

Will the MCU Make Significant Announcements at SDCC?

At the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios faced a similar scenario when it did not have a panel in Hall H.

Nonetheless, the Hollywood behemoth was on hand to commemorate the MCU’s tenth anniversary with merchandise and a panel. It was the build-up to the highly anticipated release of Avengers: Endgame, so it was understandable that Marvel Studios didn’t reveal all about its future plans.

However, things are different now that the MCU is in Phase 4, with almost a dozen MCU projects due to appear within the next year. The theory that Marvel Studios is keeping its announcements for D23 rather than SDCC is probable, but the existence of the banner might indicate that a She-Hulk-sized gift for guests will still materialize.

Marvel may display the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law at the event, enabling fans to express their spoiler-free responses afterwards. A question and answer session with members of the actors and crew might round off the fan experience. Another possibility for Marvel Studios at SDCC is a multitude of pop-up events celebrating all things MCU.

Overall, She-probable Hulk’s showing might be a significant treat for guests eager for Marvel entertainment.

The San Diego Comic-Con will take place from July 21 to July 24.
