Chris Hemsworth, who has portrayed the charming god of thunder, Thor, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for almost 10 years, is reflecting on his career.
In an Instagram video, Hemsworth expressed his affection for the role, and his Marvel colleagues praised him for giving the character depth and humor.
“I’ve adored every single time I’ve played the role,” the actor remarked in the short clip.

When the MCU’s fourth film, “Thor,” was released in 2011, Hemsworth was poorly recognized, and Thor was still a relatively new character.
However, discovering Hemsworth, according to Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, made the character work and paved the road for the MCU to expand into a multibillion-dollar company.
Hemsworth is currently directing his fourth solo film as the hammer-wielding god in Taika Waititi’s “Thor: Love and Thunder,” which also stars Academy Award winners Christian Bale and Russell Crowe as the villainous Gorr and god-ruler Zeus, respectively, and some of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” crew.
Natalie Portman, who reprises her role as Thor in the series, praised her co-“amazing star’s comic genius” and commitment, even going so far as to grow exceedingly buff for the part. Tessa Thompson, who plays the heroic Valkyrie, applauded him for being “brave” as he attempted new things on stage.
Concerning the tone change in the third “Thor” film, director Taika Waititi said that he told actor Chris Hemsworth to give the role “more of (himself)” in order to make the hero more relatable to his distinctly powerless audience. The humorous sequel “Thor: Ragnarok” was favorably welcomed by both audiences and reviewers.
Captain America and Iron Man, take note! Thor is also the first Marvel superhero to appear in four movies, excluding the “Avengers” franchise.
