Harry Potter star wants to portray renowned Marvel hero. 

HARRY POTTER fans will no doubt be ecstatic to learn that the film franchise’s greatest actor, Daniel Radcliffe, wants to continue his cinematic career by portraying an X-Men mutant – might his introduction even begin in the forthcoming Doctor Strange 2? 

The ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe is now welcoming a slew of new cast members. Mr Fantastic, Professor X, Blade, and even a new Iron Man are scheduled to appear in the forthcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. But Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe also wants to be a part of this new wave of performers, and he isn’t afraid to say it.

In 2013, he starred in the horror mystery movie Horns, and he has subsequently worked on films such as Swiss Army Man, Guns Akimbo, Escape from Pretoria, and many more. However, he may be on his way back to franchise work, since he was recently questioned about some Marvel rumors at a red carpet event. 

Radcliffe was questioned about rumors that he would take over as Wolverine now that Hugh Jackman had retired from the role after 17 years. However, he admitted that he would “disappoint” his admirers. 

Radcliffe said that he had not been cast as Wolverine, but that he was open to the possibility. He stated:

“So many people have approached me and said, ‘Hey dude, I heard the Wolverine news, that’s very awesome!’ And I’m like, dude, that’s not… I’m not even sure what it is!” Regarding the rumors, he added: “I love that someone has obviously thought, hey, Wolverine is truly small in the comic books, we should hire a short man to do it! But I don’t think so… I don’t picture myself [in the part].”
