The Marvel Cinematic Universe has entered the theme park industry, and the Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris is the first MCU product to mention Deadpool.
It’s now time for the Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris to open to visitors. Every Marvel fan is giddy about the sly Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) Easter Egg that comes along with it.

Future Marvel films may be impacted by events in the Disney Parks because the Avengers Campus areas at Disney California Adventure and Walt Disney Studios Park in France are linked to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios is obviously keeping a close eye on what happens in their new territories because new heroes are always showing up at the Avengers Campus in California with each new movie and Disney+ streaming series.
In a surprising change of events, the Avengers Campus in Paris has now officially acknowledged Deadpool as a Marvel character in the MCU:
In the aforementioned video, Kirsten Acuna demonstrates how Wade Wilson is listed as Deadpool in Marvel’s database under the “Do Not Contact” sub-category. The information on his file is “Do Not Affiliate” and “No Thanks.”
Despite the fact that Walt Disney Imagineering has said that the various Avengers Campus takes place in realities other than the one that fans witness in Earth-616 (main timeline), it is obvious that this new land is closely linked to the MCU through the Multiverse.

Even though the Easter Egg is merely an Easter Egg and a very subtle nod, anything even seemingly insignificant, like this Deadpool reference in a Disney Park, could have significant effects on the Marvel Collection, particularly in light of the recent revelation that Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) is a mutant.
The X-Men and mutants will be introduced to the MCU by Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige. This Deadpool allusion might be the first move in a larger strategy to completely upend the Marvel Universe. Therefore, Deadpool is in fact a part of the MCU.
