The Emmy-nominated actress weighs in on a prospective comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Since the conclusion of the Infinity Saga, the Scarlet Witch has been making major waves in the MCU. Elizabeth Olsen has given outstanding performances as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Disney+ series WandaVision and as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The popularity of WandaVision generated a spin-off dubbed Agatha: House of Harkness after the series’ primary antagonist Agatha Harkness, portrayed by Kathryn Hahn. When questioned about a prospective return to the MCU in the series, Olsen said she was open to the concept.
Although an enormously corrupted Wanda supposedly sacrificed her life at the conclusion of Multiverse of Madness, the film also left the MCU open to several future character returns and additions. When asked whether she will return to Westview in Agatha: House of Harkness, the actress answered Good Morning America:
“I mean, I’d do anything for Hahn…no, I’m not on it — at least, not that I’m aware of. However, I adore that lady. That whole event was packed with so much excitement, it was fantastic… I’m hoping [Marvel Studios president and producer] Kevin Feige is paying attention.” 
Following the phenomenal success of WandaVision, in which Hahn played as the wicked and manipulative witch Agatha Harkness, Agatha: House of Harkness was announced in 2021. Hahn had an outstanding performance as Agatha, and the dynamic combo of her and Olsen created an exciting and compelling plot throughout. Olsen is open to the notion of returning to the MCU, saying:
“But in my mind, I’m simply assuming that they’ll have me again. I’m not sure in what capacity, but I want to be returning… I’m hoping to have more fun doing something different. Where are we going? I feel like we’ve accomplished so much with her. It’s been a crazy couple of years with her.”
It’s fair to assume that most fans would welcome the Scarlet Witch returning in any manner. Only time will tell whether Olsen reprises her role as Wanda in Agatha: House of Harkness, but you may see her in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is now playing in cinemas and stars Olsen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Xochitl Gomez, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, and others.
