It is now official! Farhan Akhtar has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 

While there has been rumours of Bollywood entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it has now been confirmed that Farhan Akhtar will star in the next Ms Marvel. Farhan Akhtar is now officially a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite the fact that his role in the film is yet unknown. Farhan Akhtar will appear with Iman Vellani, a Canadian-born young actress who will portray the heroine Kamala Khan. She will also appear in The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel. After Peter Parker or Spider-Man, she will be the MCU’s first adolescent superhero. 

Shibani Dandekar, the actor’s wife, verified the news on social media with an appreciative message. She posted a news item on her Instagram account announcing that Farhan Akhtar would appear as a guest star. “THIS!!!” she captioned the image. I can’t wait to see this one!! The Marvel Universe’s first major starring Indian actor! @faroutakhtar @purvilavingia for making this possible @amarjeetchahal for always being there #msmarvel #disneyplus ” Farhan Akhtar later confirmed the report on his social media accounts. “Grateful that the universe offers these chances to grow, learn, and in this instance have a ton of fun while doing it,” he wrote.
