As the MCU keeps growing, Phase 4 has been an interesting time for them as they try to branch out their huge, interconnected world. With Disney+, Marvel Studios has been able to make a lot of solo projects for heroes who have been in the franchise for a long time but haven’t been the main star. It has also made room for new characters to join the MCU, like Kate Bishop, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and many more.
When fans want to see Nova in the MCU, they want Richard Rider, better known as Nova. For a long time now, the MCU has had the famous Nova Corps thanks to the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and TV shows. However, the person that most people think of when they think of Nova isn’t there. Because Richard didn’t show up, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has said that Nova is still a character that they want to show at some point.
Finally, the MCU appears to be getting ready to bring Richard from the comic book to the big screen. One of the head writers on the limited series Moon Knight is Pirzada. He is working on a Nova solo project for Marvel Studios, with Feige as an executive producer on board. At this point, it’s not clear if it will be a movie or a new Disney+ show.
Nova and MCU are two of the best games on the market. A group of people called Nova Corps appear in Guardians of the Galaxy. If Pirzada’s Nova project ends up being part of the MCU’s Phase 5, it would not be a surprise. Phase 4 already has a lot of movies and shows coming out. Even so, the news comes at a very interesting time, which could help solve a new MCU mystery. Marvel Studios is working on a space show that hasn’t been named yet, according to new production listings that were found online. Marvel and Disney haven’t said anything about it yet. If that is the Nova project, it would make a lot of sense to think that.
The first show that isn’t set on Earth would be Nova. Given how well Star Wars shows have done on the Disney-branded service, it was only a matter of time before Marvel Studios did the same thing, if Nova did become a weekly show. Whether or not fans will meet Richard for the first time in a different MCU movie before Nova. It is possible that Richard will make his MCU debut in a post-credits scene or have a small role in the movie itself. Even though we don’t know yet what Nova will become, it’s exciting to know that Richard is finally on his way to the show.
