CD Projekt has said that a new Witcher game is being made, which will “start a new saga for the series.”
Unreal Engine 5 will be used to make the new game, not CD Projekt’s RED engine. This will start a “multi-year strategic partnership” with Epic Games, the company said.

CD Projekt said that they changed to a new engine in order to speed up the process of making the game. The studio also said that the new Witcher game, even though it will be made with a new engine, will not be made for the Epic Games Store.
No other information about the game, such as a possible release date, has been released. The teaser image that came with the announcement suggests that the new game will not feature Geralt. Witcher medallion: It’s hard to make out what it is, but it’s not from School of the Wolf.
First, I thought the medallion looked like the School of the Cat, which is an outcast school that only trains women and non-humans. During The Witcher 3, the medallion that Ciri carries is also the one that she got from a bounty hunter hired to kill her. It also looks a lot like the School of the Lynx, which came about soon after the Wolf School officially closed.
