Monica Bellucci Talks About Simple Pleasures

Monica Bellucci Talks About Simple Pleasures, Statement Diamonds, And The Style Advice She Gives Her Daughters

Monica Bellucci is a self-proclaimed jewelry guru. Bejeweled wearable art has long been a staple of the film icon’s red-carpet costume. She’s attended events like the Cannes Film Festival and the BAFTAs in museum-worthy gowns throughout the years. Bellucci is now taking her love in the art form a step further by joining Cartier for the brand’s newest venture, a globe-trotting project directed by Charlotte Wales.

Bellucci plays the film’s grande dame, alongside Lily Collins, Troye Sivan, and Maisie Williams. Despite wearing a fresh version of the legendary Cartier high jewellery crocodile, which was initially fashioned for Mexican actress Mara Félix in 1975 for Wales’s film, Bellucci easily says that what pulls her to a piece is less about diamonds and more about connection. “Sometimes it’s simply a personal moment,” she said via phone from Paris. “Yes, all of the diamonds are lovely, but I also have a simple garnet ring that I wear all the time since it was given to me by my grandmother and has such personal value to me.”

Bellucci attributes her affinity for fashion to her mother and grandparents. “Women in my family taught me that we have the right to love ourselves and make room for our joy,” she adds. “That [care] is the ultimate manifestation of our femininity, shown not just in our dress and jewelry, but also in how we treat ourselves.” She has instilled similar values in her children, Deva, 17, and Léonie, 11. “They realize that you have to love and respect yourself, that you have to make time for activities that are just for your benefit and not [mean] to satisfy anybody else,” Bellucci adds.

Jewelry, according to Bellucci, is a last, personal touch that completes an outfit. As a result, she favors statement pieces with intriguing backstories and intrinsic strength. “Each stone is said to have its own vitality,” she explains. “When you wear these works of art, you’re in touch with it.” Going to the Cartier atelier and seeing the craftspeople at work is always intriguing because it helps you to enjoy the experience much more. Behind the gems, you can see the expertise, craftsmanship, and love that goes into them.” Sometimes the ultimate decision is based just on instinct. “You feel it,” Bellucci says. “There’s something about you that you can’t quite put your finger on that pulls you in.” The most significant or costly thing isn’t usually the most important or expensive piece; it’s about how what you wear represents that moment in time.”

At the Cannes Film Festival, Bellucci used the interlocking crocodile theme again and again. She wore Félix’s 18-karat yellow gold and brilliant cut yellow diamond original to the premiere of Indigénes in 2006 to commemorate her first time on the main competition jury. Eleven years later, when hosting the opening ceremony, she would revisit the design, this time in 18-karat white gold and 66.86 karats of Colombian emeralds. “Those crocodiles were incredible – talk about magnificent gems – but they’re also associated with those Cannes events.” “It’s all connected,” she explains. “When you put on a garment like that, you feel a sense of duty.” It’s a joy to wear them, but they don’t belong to me, which is really better since it allows me to put on so many various outfits.”

Attention-grabbing stones never go out of style, but Bellucci has recently gravitated toward simple embellishments. “Like everyone else, I adore diamonds, rubies, and sapphires, but there are moments when something simple is lovely,” she adds. “It gives you a different sensation than wearing the huge jewels.” Simplicity is also a guiding principle in the works Bellucci has given to her daughters. “When kids do well in school or have a birthday,” she adds, “I prefer to send them a little gift.” “Because they’re so young, I chose simpler works.” The [jewelry] does not have to be costly. It’s more so that they may record those events and make new memories.”

The film’s upbeat nostalgia is central to Wales’s short, in which Bellucci and a slew of other celebs sing along to Roger Glover & Guest’s cheerful 1974 pop classic, “Love Is All,” while dressed in Cartier. The project’s theme of unification resonated with the actor as it was shot on location in Paris, Shanghai, and Los Angeles. “I had so much fun filming,” Bellucci adds. “The campaign is extremely exquisite, and it’s a joy to celebrate love, passion, and energy with so many individuals from across the globe.” After two years of travel restrictions, border closures, and post-Covid adjustments, bringing together a multinational cast for an ode to pleasure was significant in and of itself. “We’re at a wonderful time, and right now, what we need more than anything is all the love, optimism, and humanity that we can muster,” Bellucci adds. “All of this has been challenging, but we’ve learned to appreciate the basic things in life: time for ourselves, our families, and the people we care about.” It’s amazing to be able to pay tribute to it with such a joyous endeavor.”

Who Looks More Stunning in a Red Dress, Scarlett Johansson or Elizabeth Olsen?

The youngest Olsen sibling, formerly dwarfed by her older sisters, has grown up. She claims to be 32, although she seems much younger. At Saturday night’s 33rd Film Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles, Elizabeth wowed in a bold red sheer lace Zuhair Murad outfit that highlighted her amazing physique. The actress looked both sultry and refined in her choice of wardrobe. One of the actors that caught our attention was Elizabeth Olsen, who donned a Zuhair Murad bespoke gown and Jimmy Choo stiletto sandals. Her all-ruby-red outfit is stunning and clearly draws inspiration from the designer’s spring/summer 2018 collection. A thin lace dress like Elizabeth’s would look stunning in this colour of red for an evening out on the town. The midi-length gown accentuates her figure thanks to the mirror-image lace work down the garment and the corset-style bodice. Check out her attire below: –

Scarlett Johansson, who also appeared in “The Avengers,” wore a garment quite identical to the one in question. She didn’t wear it to an event, but the photographs she snapped of herself in it are undeniably sultry. Her hair was done in a classic updo, and she wore minimal makeup. Her cherry red dress matched the colour of lipstick she was carrying, and her eyes were captivating. While the overall style of her clothing was comparable to that of Elizabeth’s, the shearing pattern was unique to her own. Look at Scarlett in that dress: –

How Monica Bellucci always looks so young

30 September 2014 The actress Monica Bellucci will be 50. She is still one of the most stunning and seductive ladies on the planet despite being far from youthful.

A gathering was hosted in Moscow in March 2014 to celebrate the launch of a new Dolce & Gabbana store. The party’s primary attraction was the incomparable Monica Bellucci. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, two fashion designers, and the actress have a close bond. In the late 1980s, Bellucci made her modeling debut in the Dolce & Gabbana show. She has been promoting this fashion brand’s clothing, perfumes, and cosmetics for about ten years now. The journalists, Russian celebrities, and ordinary admirers of her talent described the Italian actress as luxurious, sophisticated, exquisite, and singular. The actress, who is approaching her 50th birthday, looks gorgeous despite her recent divorce.

One of the few women who age gracefully is Monica Bellucci. She encourages all women to follow her lead because she has figured out how to accept herself at any age. The Italian beauty’s visage makes it clear that she resisted the trend for “beauty injections” and only occasionally makes use of cosmetic surgery’s advancements. This makes Monica Bellucci appear really authentic. Bellucci is stunning without makeup and has traditionally attractive facial features. However, the actress acknowledges that she finds it impossible to envision her existence without makeup. She loves lipstick and mascara for beauty goods. Her brown eyes are highlighted by the eyeshadow’s delicate selection of light gray or brown hues.

The key elements of Monica Bellucci’s look include a floor-length dress, high heels, natural makeup, and beautiful black hair. This actress has frequently appeared on lists of the sexiest and most attractive women in the world. The Italian movie star’s physique might be used as the benchmark for femininity. She doesn’t make an effort to meet the expectations of beauty set by Hollywood and the fashion industry. Monica’s weight stabilized at around 68 kg after the birth of her second child, but the actress was in no rush to start a diet. She was breastfeeding, which was her main concern.

Monica Bellucci has frequently stated that she doesn’t take any additional measures to maintain her physical fitness. She doesn’t exercise or follow a diet. The actress chuckles and says, “I’m too lazy for that.” The actress prefers to wear black clothing that conceals her imperfections rather than working out at a gym until she is exhausted. If she wants to drop weight for a certain job, she just switches to lower-calorie foods, and the pounds naturally disappear. With a height of 175 centimeters, Monica weighs between 64 and 66 kg. By Hollywood standards, this is almost a catastrophe. However, Bellucci has always stood out since she never tried to uphold the standards.
